At the heart of Cedar Crest Cottages is a local family who is passionate about design, details, life experiences, customer service and above all, Lake Tahoe. Cedar Crest Cottages is their way of sharing these passions with you.
Cedar Crest was originally built as a hunting lodge in 1933. Cedar Crest Cottages are a collection of boutique vacation cottages newly renovated by Bruce Olson Construction that overlook Lake Tahoe's West Shore.
The designers, Land to Living, were inspired by the many birds that inhabit beautiful Lake Tahoe. Each cottage features a unique color palette, custom wood or stone flooring, distinctive furnishings and decor, and luxurious linens.

Blythe Colleran-Olson
Blythe has been running and managing Cedar Crest since it has been open. She loves helping the guests and making sure that every cottage is in perfect condition for every guest’s arrival!
Molly & Robb Olson

Marissa Warren-Olson
Marissa has played an integral part in our marketing and social media presence! She became an expert when she opened up her own boutique clothing store in SF!
Bruce Olson
Bruce and his wife, Molly, are the owners of Cedar Crest Cottages. Bruce is the builder and his attention to detail, quality, and insistence on perfection are very clear when you stay in one of these gorgeous cottages. See his homes at: Bruce Olson Construction
Kiki Olson-Moore
Kiki and Dillion were the original Cedar Crest hosts and were instrumental in setting up the business during the first year of operations.
