Check-In - 4:00 pm. If you need a guaranteed early check-in then please book the night before. Check-in after 8 pm must be prearranged with Hosts. We will email you instructions on where your cottage is and where to get your key.
Check-Out - 11:00 am. Late check-out may be available. Please inquire during your stay for availability.
Parking - ONE vehicle per cottage is allowed to park onsite in reserved parking spaces. Additional vehicles may park onsite on a first come first served basis (very limited extra spots). Off-site parking is available in the surrounding area only in the summer months.
Pets -PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE COTTAGES. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS SO PLEASE DON'T ASK.
Housekeeping Services - Housekeeping services can be offered upon request to guests after your 3rd night stay. To request our housekeeping service after your 3rd night, please call or text 530-448-7258.
Hosts - The on-site Hosts are available everyday: Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Thursday-Sunday from 8:00 am-8:00 pm.
The on-site Hosts are also available after hours for emergencies. In emergencies, please call the Hosts at 530-412-9222.
Noise Policy - As a courtesy to our guests and our neighbors we respectfully ask that guests be aware of their noise level and observe quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Children - Children are always welcome and we ask that they be under responsible adult supervision at all times.
Additional Guests - Additional guest accommodations for children age 15 and under include either portable cribs or floor futon depending on guest preference and age. Such additional accommodations are based on availability at time of reservation booking.
Accessibility - Persons requiring accommodations in compliance with ADA requirements must reserve Cottage 1, (Sparrow) for their stay.
Age Requirement - Must be 18 years old or older to reserve and check into a cottage.
High Speed Internet - High Speed Wireless Internet service is available in all cottages free of charge.
Smoking - Smoking by any means (including electronic and vapor cigarettes or any other similar devices) is not permitted on the property. A cleaning fee will be charged for violation of this policy.
Maintenance Services - Hosts, maintenance, or repair personnel may need to enter guest cottages during guest stays to perform services or repairs. Hosts will attempt to arrange such services at a time convenient to the guest but circumstances may require service at a specific time. All such personnel will be introduced to guests by a host.
Gear Storage - Recreational gear is not allowed in the cottages. Recreational gear includes but is not limited to skis, snowboards, ski boots, bikes, paddleboards, strollers, etc. Hosts will check all gear into the secure, heated storage area free of charge. Long term storage may be available to returning guests for a fee, please inquire for details.
Luggage and Gear Storage - Hosts will check guest luggage or gear into the secure storage area starting at 8:00 am prior to check-in or until 10:00 pm after check-out free of charge.
Snow Removal - Walkways, driveways, and drive aisles will be reasonably clear of snow to allow passage of pedestrians and vehicles to and from the property.
Damage fee - Property will be inspected following check-out and the cost to repair damages and/or replace damaged items will be charged to the departing guest.
Room Rates - Rates and availability are based on season and current occupancy. All rates are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed. Rates are based on double occupancy per bedroom. Some cottages may accommodate additional guests, age 15 years and under. Please reference the cottage descriptions for maximum allowed occupancies.
Reservation Policy - 100% of the first night stay will be required at time of booking. The remaining balance plus tax is due upon check-in.
Minimum Stays - Minimum stays are required over certain periods throughout the year.
A minimum two night stay is always required.
A minimum three night stay is required over the following holiday periods:
Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend / Ski/Skate Week
Cancellations - All policies apply to cancellations made for any reason including airline cancellations, weather conditions, natural disasters, illness, etc.
More Than 30 Days: If cancelled more than 30 days before the date of arrival, guests will be refunded their first nights stay deposit minus a $35 cancellation fee.
Less Than 30 Days: If cancelled less than 30 days before the date of arrival, guests will forfeit first nights deposit.
Less Than 48 Hours: if cancelled less than 48 hours before the date of arrival, guests will forfeit the entire cost of the reservation.
Amendments - All policies apply to amendments made for any reason including airline cancellations, weather conditions, natural disasters, illness, etc.
Reservation dates may be amended more than 30 days in advance of stay to an available alternate date. Rates for the new dates will apply and total payment will be adjusted accordingly.
Reservation dates may be amended less than 30 days in advance of stay to an available alternate date for transaction fee equal to the highest nightly rate booked. Rates for the new dates will apply and total payment will be adjusted accordingly.
Guests wishing to change the reserved cottage to an available cottage with more bedrooms may do so free of charge by calling Cedar Crest Cottages. The rate for the newly reserved cottage will apply and total payment will be adjusted accordingly. Such changes are only allowed for the same dates of stay as originally booked.
Guests wishing to change the reserved cottage to an available cottage with fewer bedrooms may do so for a transaction fee equal to the highest nightly rate booked by calling Cedar Crest Cottages. The rate for the newly reserved cottage will apply and total payment will be adjusted accordingly. Such changes are not permitted within 48 hours of stay and must be for the same dates of stay as originally booked.
No Shows / Early Departures - No shows and early departures will be charged in full. This includes no shows and early departures made for any reason including airline cancellations, weather conditions, natural disasters, illness, etc.
