SUMMER ACTIVITIES
BEACH ACCESS - Just across the street you can find the neighborhood's sandy beach. It is a wonderful place to relax, play in the water and see the whole lake.
HIKING - There are many places to explore nearby. Just to name a few, you can hike Eagle Rock, Blackwood Canyon, Emerald Bay, Mt. Tallac, Fallen Leaf Lake, and Eagle Falls. When you arrive, our guestbook has a comprehensive list of hikes with descriptions about length and difficulty.

RENT JET SKIS|BOATS - Once again, just 1 mile from the cottages, you can rent jet skis and boats. Check out Homewood High and Dry Marina for all rental details at www.homewoodmarina.net.
WATERSKI|WAKEBOARD LESSONS - Learn all water sports at the High and Dry Marina. Take lessons with the High Sierra Water Ski School. Visit their website at www.highsierrawaterskiing.com.

SKIING|SNOWBOARDING - Skip the skier traffic and get right to the mountain! The cottages are located 1 mile from Homewood Mountain Ski Resort. SLEDDING - There are many places to go sledding in Tahoe in the winter, but some free places close to the cottages can be found at Blackwood Canyon and 64 Acres Lakeside located just a few miles away. Another great place is up Mt.Rose Highway. Some places to pay for sledding are Granlibakken and Boreal.
